Two massive earthquakes hit southern Turkey close to the borders of Syria the 6th of February 2023. The earthquakes cause large-scale devastation as thousands of building were destroyed and more were damaged. The catastrophe has claimed thousands of lives while the search and rescue operations are still undergoing at the time of drafting this paragraph.
